I’m Lauren, a Clinical Psychologist in Bournemouth, and I’ve worked with people with dementia for 10 years now and it’s an emotional, bittersweet job. I feel so honoured people in vulnerable situations let me into their lives and families for a short time and I hope that with some increased understanding of the diagnosis and some quick tips, it can be easier for both people with a dementia and their loved ones.
